How much is a keratin treatment in London?

Short answer: across London, keratin and Brazilian blow-dries start around £95–£150 in outer London and run from about £200 to several hundred pounds in central London, depending on length and thickness. My own prices are on my prices page.

That’s a wide range. Here’s where the numbers come from, and what moves a quote up or down.

What London charges

London prices for keratin and Brazilian blow-dries vary widely. When I checked the listings on Fresha on 14 October 2026:

• Outer London: prices start around £95–£150.
• Central London: from about £200 to several hundred pounds.

Within each, the price moves with the length and thickness of your hair. A short, fine bob and long, thick hair are not the same job, and they’re rarely the same price.

So if you see two very different numbers for “keratin”, check what each one is for before you compare them.

What changes the price

Four things move a keratin price, wherever you go:

• Your hair’s length and density. The longer and thicker it is, the more the price moves.
• Which system is used. Not every keratin is the same product.
• How long it takes. A keratin treatment takes 2–3 hours.
• Whether a consultation or strand test comes first. It’s part of the price too.

When you compare quotes, compare them on these four points, not just the bottom line.

When cheap isn’t cheap

A cheap price for long, thick hair often means a lighter product or a rushed iron. The number looks good. The result may not.

If your hair is long and thick and the price is at the very bottom of the range, ask which product is being used and how long the appointment is booked for.
