Yuko, Curzon Street
1999: the first straighteningDOWN, and the first in Europe to offer the Yuko System outside Yuko’s own salon. By his 2014 bio, the first to straighten Afro-Caribbean hair with the Japanese method.
First a technician, then Manager of the Yuko System salon and hair academy, Curzon Street, Mayfair (1999), learning straightening from Yuko Yamashita herself.
Then an educator at the Yuko academy.

The salon group I founded and owned: Soho (7 Old Compton Street) from 2001, then Covent Garden (44–46 Shelton Street) and the Barbican (161 Whitecross Street).
The first salon in Europe with the rights to perform the Yuko System.

The distribution company: it brought Onix to UK salons, imported Zoltan’s own brand Eternity Liss from Brazil, and was CREATE’s sole UK distributor for the Korean ATS range.

re:flash permsUP, the Water 3-Step and NewBorn, from CREATE in Korea: Compton London was the sole UK distributor.
