The ladder

What I look at
- What your hair does now. Its number, wet and dry.
- What you want it to do. Your number.
- What has already been done to it. Colour, bleach, previous straighteningDOWN or perms. The hair remembers.
- What it can safely take. The strand test decides, not the bottle.
- The distance between 1 and 2, measured against 4. That is the treatment. Sometimes the answer is no.
