Hot Smooth, and the Atelier treatments
Hot Smooth, 2014
Hot Smooth was the Brazilian keratin blow-dry, updated. Zoltan launched it at the Atelier in 2014: you could wash your hair the same day, and it was mixed from three to five products for each head of hair.
Who is it for? Every hair type, including very curly, unmanageable hair or fine European hair; damaged, puffy hair; people who want their blow-dries to last longer, or want wash-and-go hair; people who want shine.
What’s new? Same day: can be washed on the same day the treatment was applied. Heat protection, from the heat of the hair straighteners. Smell-less, no nasty fumes: using ozone to minimise any discomfort from smell. Micro steam, using a new micro-steam machine to help the product penetrate the hair better. Mix and match: totally tailored for customers’ needs, using 3–5 different products and application and processing methods.
What does it do? Smooths the hair, adds manageability and reduces volume; conditions the hair, it feels softer and smoother after the treatment; adds extreme shine; brings the colour out. New: a treatment to bring out hair colour.
How long does it last? Around 3 months, depending on aftercare. Will be discussed on consultation before the treatment, and the correct aftercare regime will be recommended. Can be done monthly.

Notes. Book after colouring, not before; it can be booked straight after the treatment. Minimum booking time 1 hour 30 minutes, for long hair 2 hours; for extra long or very thick hair add 30 minutes. Consultations or testers available.
Other treatments will be introduced next year for texture, including Hot Straight and Hot Wave.

Keratin Smooth, Repair, Wave, Straight
Every treatment with Zoltan will be different and tailored to you. Often a number of different techniques are used to create your desired result. This also means that the treatments can last varying lengths of time, from 3 to 12 months.
Keratin Smooth
Also known as Brazilian Keratin Blow Dry: Zoltan’s signature treatment. Available in both semi-permanent and permanent options.
Keratin Repair
Improving the hair condition and repairing hair damage such as chemical, environmental or heat damage.
Keratin Wave
A type of thermal reconditioning, digital perm, creating smooth curls or bouncy waves. This treatment is the perm of today without the damage of its 80’s version.
Keratin Straight
Shiny, frizz-free, straight, soft locks. Body or poker straight, smooth. This treatment promises a brand new head of straight hair.
