The 6-step manual

How a hot perm with the ATS range went, step by step, as the maker’s brand guide set it out. History, not instructions.

1. Aqua Treatment

   A pre-, mid- or post-treatment, to help the nutritional products go in.

2. Keratin Fixer

   On the damaged parts before the chemical work; firms the curl when used before winding rods in a hot perm.

3. re:flash perm, step 1

   Check the hair and how damaged it is, and choose the re:flash perm type: resistant, normal, damaged thick or damaged fine.

4. Zero Water

   After rinsing, sprayed all over, left for 1–2 minutes, rinsed out.

5. Heating Balm

   On the ends and frizzy parts before any heated equipment.

6. re:flash perm, step 2

   The neutraliser, left for 7–10 minutes, rinsed out, finished with re:flash Treatment.
