The maker

CREATE: the Korean company behind Wave Master and ATS

CREATE makes salon machines (the perm machines hairdressers across Asia grew up on) and, since 2008, its own professional products. It exports worldwide; its own list of export markets includes the UK.

1. Dec 1991Founded in Korea (as 한국그리에이트, “Korea Create”). CREATE lists Lee Geun-gu as its representative.
2. May 1998Korea’s first quick-setting perm machine.
3. Apr 2002Swing Belle and Twin Belle.
4. Sep 2002A branch in Los Angeles.
5. Mar 2007Magic In and the Minimini In multi-perm machine.
6. Mar 2008The LE’ess brand.
